A graduate in mechanical engineering from RWTH Aachen University, he has been active in the field of industrial information technology for many years. His areas of expertise include PLM, industrial digitalization, and, currently, AI-powered industrial applications.

Karsten Schaaf heads the Supply Chain Management division. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering (RWTH Aachen University, specializing in aerospace engineering) and has been working in supply chain management for over 25 years. His current areas of focus include SCM strategy, integrated business planning, structural issues in supply chain design, and supply chain risk management.
