Modernization of cash register system - via SQL on receipts (JSON)

In our article, we present real-time reporting for the retail sector. It shows how a NoSQL database can process sales data from POS systems in real time and make it available as reports. Structured data (XML) is transmitted to the database via an EMS with every transaction at the POS.

In the current expansion stage, more than 2 million documents are processed per day. The architecture decouples the reporting system from the loading of the DWH and enables evaluation via SQL.

Successful AI introduction: best practices and practical consultation hour

In a keynote speech, we share proven methods and insights from numerous AI workshops and implementation projects. The focus is on the successful introduction of AI and governance with dos and don'ts from practice.

We then discuss questions interactively, which can also be submitted in advance and asked live. We encourage participants to discuss and share their experiences in order to facilitate networking and shed light on different facets.

Despite Europe's strong research and talent base, it rarely succeeds in developing competitive products and business models. In this panel, Christian Schneider, Sebastian Olbrich (Partner at Deloitte Consulting), Julian Ereth (Data Lead at HENRY), and Jasvin Bhasin (Founder of bridge.the.NEXT() ) will discuss how Europe's competitiveness in this area can be strengthened.
