10/06/2021 - As part of its Buy&Build strategy, Dortmund-based QuinScape Group GmbH acquired a majority stake in the two Berlin-based companies SD&C GmbH and ixto GmbH on September 30. With this collaboration, the three successful IT companies are significantly broadening their offering for customers and underlining their desire to play an increasingly significant role as IT service providers.
The merger of the three IT companies SD&C GmbH, ixto GmbH and QuinScape GmbH sends a strong signal towards market penetration and growth. All three companies can point to successful economic development and long-standing customer relationships. They complement each other in technological, industry-related and regional terms and now offer their customers high-quality IT services "from a single source".
The medium-term common goal of the three companies is to build up a leading European group of high-performance, customer-focused IT service providers. The focus will be on data management and analytics, with each partner company contributing complementary areas of expertise.
SD&C Solutions Development & Consulting GmbH was founded in 2003 and is now an established IT service provider in northern Germany with 85 employees. The company sees itself as a partner for digital transformation. It advises and develops strategies, business solutions and innovative IT solutions. This is made possible by a broad technology spectrum based on many years of experience in the areas of SAP, Microsoft & Oracle. With current consulting solutions for modern workplaces, virtual work environments as well as mobile maintenance and self-service business intelligence, SD&C is a driving force for its customers.
ixto GmbH, also founded in 2003, is a leading provider for the realization of customized data solutions. Its focus areas include data analytics, data science, big data, business intelligence, cloud, IoT and Industry 4.0. With currently 27 employees, the company supports both corporate groups and medium-sized companies regardless of industry.
QuinScape GmbH is an IT service provider with a focus on data & analytics and software engineering. QuinScape looks back on more than 20 years of experience with enterprise Java technologies. In projects, QuinScape relies on internationally established platforms and holds a leading position in German-speaking countries, e.g. for Talend and cplace. The focus of its customers is on the automotive and pharmaceutical/chemical industries.
Together with the approximately 175 employees of QuinScape, the group now has a total of almost 300 employees working on future-proof IT solutions. All three companies have an excellent network of technology partners.
