What you can expect in your new job

  • You will ensure that incoming and outgoing invoices, bank transactions and other relevant transactions are posted correctly and on time.
  • You monitor open items, clarify discrepancies with our customers and suppliers and ensure that all payments are made on time.
  • You will be responsible for reconciling bank accounts and maintaining the cash book to ensure seamless and transparent financial accounting.
  • You will assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and contribute to ensuring that the company's financial situation remains clear and transparent at all times by providing well-founded evaluations and analyses.
  • You are responsible for the timely preparation of advance VAT returns and are actively involved in the preparation of other tax returns.
  • You carry out regular reconciliations and adjustments to the G/L accounts, thus ensuring complete and correct bookkeeping.
  • You take care of the correct booking of travel expense reports and expenses and ensure smooth processing.
  • You will assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and ensure that all relevant data is available for external audits and reports.
  • You identify potential for improvement within the accounting processes and implement new solutions together with the team to further increase efficiency.
  • You are in close contact with tax advisors, auditors and tax authorities and ensure smooth communication and documentation.

What we want from you

  • Completed commercial training or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in the area of financial accounting and preparation of financial statements
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Business Central/Navision or a comparable ERP system
  • Sound knowledge in the field of financial accounting, in particular in accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as in the preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel
  • A structured, precise and independent way of working as well as a strong understanding of numbers
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a solution-oriented manner even in challenging situations
  • Very good written and spoken German, knowledge of English is an advantage
