For our growing events team, we are seeking support in the operational planning, organization, and further development of our event formats.
As an Event Manager (m/f/d), you will actively help shape our entire public presence at trade shows, conferences, and customer events. You will take responsibility for high-profile events, work closely with Sales and the various departments, and contribute your ideas directly.You’ll enjoy real creative freedom, fast decision-making processes, and a high degree of ownership—ideal for talented individuals who want to work professionally and in a structured yet creative manner.
What you can expect in your new job
- You will assist with the planning and organization of events such as trade shows, conferences, and client events, including schedules, checklists, and deadlines.
- You will coordinate service providers (catering, technical services, exhibition stand construction) as well as the request for proposals and budget tracking.
- You will assist with participant and speaker management, including ticketing, registrations, and program participation.
- You will assist with communication with event organizers, partners, sponsors, and internal teams.
- You will provide on-site support for the events: handling organizational tasks, manning the booth, and serving as the direct point of contact for vendors and the team.
- You will coordinate event materials such as trade show booths, giveaways, and presentations.
- You carry out structured documentation and follow-up work.
What we want from you
- You have commercial training in the event sector or a university degree with approximately 3 years of professional experience in event or project management.
- You have strong organizational skills and a structured approach to your work.
- You are highly service-oriented, enjoy working with people, have strong communication skills, and are confident in your manner.
- You work hands-on, are resilient and flexible, and also take on operational tasks such as setup and dismantling, logistics, and material handling.
- You are familiar with B2B events, ideally in the IT or tech sector.
- You have basic knowledge of event registration or event management tools, such as Eventbrite or HubSpot.
- You have a team spirit and speak German and English very well
- You are willing to travel frequently within the DACH region
- You have a Class B driver's license valid within Europe
