Company news

April 13, 2026

Dortmund / Munich, April 13, 2026. Dataciders is acquiring DataSpark GmbH, a specialist and pioneer in the field of agent-based AI for optimizing domain-specific and business-critical processes. With this acquisition, Dataciders is specifically strengthening its ability to effectively automate complex workflows using AI, particularly in demanding, domain-specific environments.

For over ten years, DataSpark has been helping organizations implement processes that are difficult to replicate using traditional automation approaches. The company has extensive project experience, particularly in the financial sector and in industrial companies—including the automation of compliance processes, tender analysis and bid preparation, AI-powered document analysis, and intelligent service automation. Following Possehl Digital’s investment, DataSpark strategically expanded its business, particularly strengthening its presence in the industrial sector. With Dataciders, this growth will now continue within a broader organizational and market framework.

In addition, the merger offers further benefits. These include the established collaboration with UiPath, a leading provider of software for robotic process automation. This partnership can be leveraged across the entire Dataciders group in the future to implement automation projects on an even larger scale.

In addition, Dataciders gains access to the DataSpark AI Platform, a modular toolkit that enables the configuration, integration, and continuous optimization of chatbots and autonomous AI agents within a matter of days. Furthermore, DataSpark brings extensive expertise from client projects in the areas of analytics, natural language processing, computer vision, and RPA.

Expansion of the service portfolio for complex automation tasks

DataSpark specializes in automating processes that are difficult to implement using traditional methods. By combining AI technologies with automation logic, the company develops solutions that reduce the workload on operational teams and measurably accelerate workflows. Examples include:

  • AI-powered review of regulatory documents in the financial sector,
  • Automated tender analysis and bid preparation in the industrial sector,
  • Agents for AI-powered knowledge management,
  • Intelligent analysis and organization of thousands of service reports.

“With DataSpark, we are gaining a team that has demonstrated for years how complex processes can be reliably automated using AI,” says Dr. Gero Presser, CEO of Dataciders. “The combination of experience, methodological depth, and proprietary platform technology is a valuable addition to Dataciders—and directly contributes to the benefits our customers receive.”

A shared focus on effective, practical AI solutions

DataSpark is characterized by a strong engineering culture and close collaboration with companies in the financial sector and industry. The merger gives the company access to a broader sphere of influence.
“We built DataSpark to help companies intelligently automate complex, business-critical processes,” says Robert Drews, CEO and founder of DataSpark. “With Dataciders by our side, we will be able to apply this expertise much more broadly in the future, tap into new areas of application, and effectively scale our solutions across even more industries and projects.”

Greater efficiency and more in-depth solutions for client projects

With the integration of DataSpark, customers will benefit from the following in the future:

  • in-depth expertise in AI-driven process automation,
  • expanded industry expertise, particularly in finance and manufacturing, and additional opportunities through the UiPath partnership,
  • Faster implementation of complex automation scenarios in flexible deployment environments using the DataSpark AI Platform.
  • Dataciders is thus further expanding its ability to help companies implement and scale effective AI solutions.
