February 4, 2025

Dortmund, February 4, 2025 - The current regulatory changes to the EU AI Act usher in a new era of artificial intelligence in Europe. Ensuring the AI competence of all employees who work with AI systems is now particularly important. Dataciders GmbH, a leading provider in the AI industry, is proactively taking on this challenge and offering certified training in cooperation with renowned educational institutions.

New regulations of the EU AI Act: Focus on AI competence

The EU AI Act, in particular the newly added Article 4, sets out clear requirements for the training and competence of personnel operating and using AI systems. "Providers and operators of AI systems shall take measures to ensure, to the best of their ability, that their personnel and other persons involved in the operation and use of AI systems on their behalf have a sufficient level of AI competence," the legal text states.

Renowned partners for practical training

In this new regulatory landscape, Dataciders GmbH is helping companies and professionals not only to comply with legal requirements, but also to deepen their skills in dealing with AI technologies. In collaboration with Steinbeis Augsburg Business School, the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria - Hagenberg Campus and expert Roman Eckschlager, Dataciders offers a comprehensive training program. This program is specifically designed to impart the necessary AI knowledge in a practical way and to help participants obtain their certifications in accordance with the requirements of the EU AI Act.

Designed for the requirements of the industry

Herbert Pataky, Head of the AI Initiative at Dataciders, emphasizes the importance of this training: "It is crucial that everyone involved, from developers to operational staff, receives solid training in AI. Our courses are designed to not only be informative, but also directly address the needs and challenges of the industry." The so-called 4 Future Skills are also taught on the course: Collaboration, Communication, Creativity and Critical Thinking - the 4 "Cs" for short. These are hugely important in conjunction with AI.
