Our impressions of "Becoming a Frontier Firm" at Microsoft Cologne!

"Becoming Frontier" was more than just a theme—it was a palpable mood that accompanied all participants throughout the evening. First-hand professional insights, combined with concrete practical examples, sparked stimulating discussions that continued into the evening over good food and refreshing drinks.

The keynote speech by Thomas Sigmund from Microsoft provided particular highlights, offering insights into the company's strategic direction. This was complemented by a presentation from Christian Schneider and Dr. Gero Presser from Dataciders, who shared their perspectives on current developments. Practical reports from Philipp Wiesauer from Grant Thornton and Marco Rzeha from SAT GmbH & Co. KG showed how artificial intelligence is already being used successfully in everyday work.

The event was rounded off by a panel discussion in which participants shared their experiences and perspectives on what "Becoming Frontier" specifically means for them and their companies. It became clear that the interaction between AI and human expertise in particular creates sustainable added value.
