08.02.2022 | QuinScape Group GmbH, headquartered in Dortmund, Germany, is on course to become Europe's leading IT service provider group with a focus on data management and analytics by acquiring a further majority stake in an IT service company.
Following their merger as a group of independently operating IT service companies in September 2021, QuinScape GmbH, SD&C GmbH and ixto GmbH were able to gain another strategic partner in InMediasP GmbH as part of their growth strategy.
"With a total of more than 400 employees, annual revenues of well over 40 million euros in 2021 and locations in Dortmund, Berlin, Hamburg, Hanover, Stuttgart and Munich, we as a group have achieved significant size and importance in the German-speaking market in just a few months," says Dr. Gero Presser, Managing Director of QuinScape Group GmbH. "The goal for 2022 is now, in addition to organic growth, to continue this inorganic group growth and to fill the cooperation within the group with life. In the future, we will offer our customers significantly more technological expertise from a single source."
In order to grow sustainably as a medium-sized company and to be able to successfully position itself in competition with corporations, QuinScape GmbH brought AUCTUS Capital Partners on board as a growth partner in 2018. With almost 300 company investments since 2001, this is the most successful German investment company.
The aim of the Buy & Build strategy initiated by the partners AUCTUS and QuinScape is to successively acquire IT service companies as partners that complement the Group in three growth dimensions: Expansion of locations, addition of expertise in technologies and specialist topics, and access to further industries and customers. All partner companies will continue to operate independently and autonomously in their corporate structures and processes.
As a further member, InMediasP GmbH has joined the QuinScape Group as of January 1, 2022. InMediasP's mission is digital transformation for tomorrow's product lifecycle, from concept to full implementation. For Dr. Jörg Lüddemann, Managing Director of InMediasP GmbH since 1998, joining the Group is an important milestone: "For all of us - employees, customers and for us as a company - the strategic fit is an excellent fit. I am convinced that, in addition to security and reliability, considerable potential for further development will arise from the cooperation in the group while maintaining entrepreneurial independence."
