Dortmund, September 29, 2023. The Dortmund-based IT service provider QuinScape GmbH is getting a new management team. With Christian Schneider and Christopher Klewes, two long-standing executives will take over the management of the IT company specializing in data management and analytics on October 1, 2023. They thus replace the three founders and previous managing directors Dr.-Ing. Thomas Biskup, Dr. Norbert Jesse and Dr. Gero Presser, who will now focus exclusively on managing Dataciders GmbH. This was founded in 2019 by QuinScape GmbH together with the financial investor AUCTUS as a service provider group with a focus on data & analytics.
"With six companies and more than 500 employees, Dataciders has now reached a considerable size. Orchestrating the collaboration and shaping the further growth of the group requires our full attention as managing directors. Therefore, it is consistent that we hand over the management of QuinScape and fully concentrate on the development of Dataciders," explains Dr. Gero Presser. "With Christian Schneider and Christopher Klewes, we have found two successors for QuinScape who have not only been with the company for many years, but have also made a decisive contribution to QuinScape's success as long-standing division managers."
Christian Schneider (51) and Christopher Klewes (36), both trained computer scientists, have been working at QuinScape since 2011. As long-standing members of the management team, they are already closely familiar with the business activities. While Christopher Klewes has been heading the Software Engineering division since 2016, Christian Schneider has been heading the Data & Analytics division since 2018 after holding various management positions both at QuinScape and at earlier professional stations.
As the new managing directors, they are on the one hand relying on the previous foundation of the company, while on the other hand they want to shape the positioning of QuinScape as part of the Dataciders Group. While his main focus is on Data Management and Advanced Analytics, Christopher Klewes concentrates on Software Engineering. QuinScape has exactly the right experts to drive this goal," explains Christopher Klewes. "As part of the Dataciders group with the complementary competencies of our sister companies, our own portfolio of IT consulting and software development gains even more depth.
