Development of a tender management portal in Microsoft Teams with Power Automate

MAN Truck & Bus, one of the leading providers in the international commercial vehicle industry, was looking for a solution to make the complex and transnational processes in the area of major project tenders more efficient, transparent and secure. Together with Dataciders, a customized tender management portal was created that is fully integrated into Microsoft Teams and is based on technologies such as Power Automate and SharePoint lists.

The previously manual steps involved in project creation, rights assignment and document organization have been replaced by automated processes - while at the same time complying with the highest security requirements. The solution enables centralized and standardized project creation at the touch of a button, automates the creation of folder structures, Microsoft Planner boards and standard documents and assigns individual read and write permissions based on a flexible configuration model.

The result: significantly reduced susceptibility to errors, noticeable relief for the specialist departments, transparent management of global projects and more efficient collaboration across national borders.
